During this three-day camp, participants will explore the local environment through a variety of hands-on, tech-infused activities. Planned activities include water quality testing and species identification at a local riverside park, building and programming a plant monitoring system using micro:bit micro-controllers and sensors, drone mapping, tree planting, and more. Activities are inspired by the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) framework, developed by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Cost includes a take-home kit consisting of a micro:bit and a variety of sensors.
